Hey All,

Truly impressed by Act 1 run through. Great job memorizing your lines. Continue practicing, watch the videos we are providing you, they’re all up to date! The more you practice, the more it frees up you to explore the characters you’re developing in the show bible…there is some great stuff in there that you guys are coming up with! I love it!

Costume Parade and Button Photos

On Saturday, all cast will start out in their main “town” costume. We will run a few numbers in costume, then those that have costume changes will change, and we may run another one or two numbers.

Toward the end of Costume Parade time, each group will get their photo taken. Button Photo groupings can be seen here: Music Man Button Photos

Groups who are missing a cast member this Saturday will have their photos taken during dress week.

Questions? Let me know!

Updates and Reminders

Hi everyone! A few updates and reminders:

  • Dance videos are all loaded into the drive. You can find them here: Dance Videos
  • There is a Production Committee Meeting this Friday, July 19th, from 7-8:30 in the Summit View Worship Center. We’ll be covering the schedule and logistics for moving into the theater and the show run. Committees will meet during this time (unless your committee chair has made other arrangements). Cast, I’ll give you a rundown at rehearsal on Saturday.
  • Costume Parade is this Saturday! Please remember to wear undergarments (bike shorts and a tank top worn under your clothes/costume) to rehearsal. You should also bring the shoes/socks that you’ll be wearing with your costume. Please arrive to rehearsal with hair and makeup done according to instructions. If you aren’t sure about your show shoes, hair, or makeup, please scroll down and find the posts that outline that information.
  • IMPORTANT: Saturday’s rehearsal is at Crosspointe Baptist: 9810 NE 76th St, Vancouver. We will not be at Summit View on Saturday!
  • Keep promoting your show! Here are some profile pics to use–there is one for each cast/crew member. Music Man Profile Pics  Ticket goals: If we sell 2,500 tickets, we will have drawings for some fun prizes at the wrap party.
  • If you have any questions, please reach out to me at, or come talk to me at rehearsal! 🙂

Thank YOU!

All of us at Journey Theater would like to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who contributes to the program in so many ways. Sometimes your acts of generosity may happen in a way that we may not hear about directly (a donated auction item, extra money put toward committee work, etc.). But we want you to know…we see you, we are grateful, and the impact you are having on so many is immeasurable. Thank you for the difference you are making in this beautiful community.

Artistic Team Thank You

One of our Journey traditions is to collectively acknowledge the hard work of the Artistic Team through an end of show gift! I am collecting money via Venmo or cash and the suggested donation is $5 per family. Please also sign thank you cards at our July 19th committee meeting.

Here is my Venmo information! Thanks so much!
